Understand the Analytics Dashboard

Learn how to read and use the Analytics dashboard to track chatbot activity, monitor recruitment outcomes, and filter performance data by date range.

Written by Jason Tu

This article explains what each metric on the Analytics dashboard means and how to use the date filter to review performance over a specific period. Understanding these figures helps you track how effectively the chatbot is supporting your recruitment workflow.

Understand the Analytics Dashboard

The Analytics dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of chatbot activity and recruitment outcomes.

  • It is divided into key metric tiles at the top, followed by activity tables showing recent Reconnect interactions, Screening results, and today's interviews.

Key Metrics

The dashboard displays five metric tiles across the top of the screen. Each tile shows data for the selected date range.

Metric

What It Shows

Hours Worked

Total hours saved by the chatbot in the selected period.

User

Total number of users the chatbot has interacted with in the selected period.

Conversation

Total number of individual interactions a user has had with the chatbot.

Interviews Booked

Total number of interviews booked by the chatbot in the selected period.

Placements Filled

Total number of placements filled with users who interacted with the chatbot.

πŸ“Œ Note: Hover over the β“˜ icon on any metric tile to see a plain-language description of what that figure represents.

Activity Tables

Below the metric tiles, the dashboard shows three activity tables:

  • Last Few Reconnect β€” Displays recent candidates contacted via a Reconnect campaign, including their name, mobile number, chat date, and campaign name.

  • Last Few Screening β€” Displays recent screening conversations, including the candidate name, profile, chat date, and outcome (such as Shortlisted or Rejected).

  • Today's Interview β€” Displays interviews scheduled for today, including candidate name, profile, chat date, and interview booked status.

Filter by Date Range

You can adjust the date range to view performance data for a specific period.

  1. Go to the Analytics dashboard, then click the date range dropdown in the top-right corner of the page.

  2. Select one of the preset options: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, or Last 30 days, then the dashboard updates automatically.

  3. To set a custom period, select Custom Range, then enter your start date and end date in the fields provided.

πŸ“Œ Note: The default view is set to Last 7 days. All metric tiles and activity tables update to reflect the selected date range.

Best Practices

  • Review the dashboard at least once a week to stay on top of chatbot activity and recruitment outcomes.

  • Use the Custom Range option when reviewing performance for a specific campaign or reporting period.

  • Cross-reference the Placements Filled figure with your recruitment records to validate chatbot-assisted outcomes.

FAQs

Q1: What does the Hours Worked metric mean?

  • Answer: Hours Worked shows the total hours saved by the chatbot during the selected date range β€” it reflects time the chatbot handled on behalf of your team.

Q2: Why is my Interviews Booked count showing 0?

  • Answer: This figure only counts interviews booked directly by the chatbot within the selected date range. If no chatbot-assisted bookings occurred in that period, the count will show 0.

Q3: What is the difference between a User and a Conversation?

  • Answer: A User is a unique individual the chatbot has interacted with. A Conversation is each individual interaction that user has had with the chatbot β€” one user can have multiple conversations.

Q4: Can I export the data shown on the dashboard?

  • Answer: The dashboard does not currently display an export option on screen. For reporting needs, use the Report section available in the left navigation menu.

Q5: How do I view data for a specific date range?

  • Answer: Click the date range dropdown in the top-right corner of the Analytics dashboard, select Custom Range, then enter your preferred start and end dates.
